What is a Memory Card?
A memory card is a solid state
data storage device used by digital music
players, digital cameras, mobile phones,
portable computers, video game consoles, and
other electronics to store data for later
recovery without the need to maintain power
to the memory card continuously. Earlier

a device powered up.

firms which, in turn, license the production
to outside suppliers and competing
specialized memory makers.
